Me....
About me
I have always been interested in 'alternative' things.
As a child I pondered on 'why are we here?'and' if we live on a planet, does it mean life elsewhere'? My Mum got into spiritulism and it all seemed to make sense, along with the fact that I was seeing spirits of people and animals.
As a small family living in London with not much money my mother always provided the best food possible and it rubbed off as I believe strongly in a good diet as that is where health starts. Growing up also we used alternative medicines and treatments as much as we could afford leading me into a life where I use them reguarly.Obviously G.Ps have their place and I would never advise against them, complementary therapies/medicines can be used alongside eachother. These days even more Doctors are becoming aware of the benefits.
Both my Mum and brother are themselves very spiritual and my brother started off doing sports massage and now is a Bowen Technique practitioner#more about that later.
So this is where my love of all things alternative began. I trained at Hastings college in a course for Holistic Therapies and have finally found more time in my life now to use all my skills together to help those who need it.
(I came up with the name Bloomin Bliss as to me most of these therapies are just that!)
I also have many other interests as Im quite creative, one of them being photography. Im only an amateur but have done well when I enter them into competitions online!
Others
I have much to thank my many new friends for..
Since joining the lovely spiritualist church at Portland Place, Hastings I have been given the support and push I needed to focus on what I truly want from life.
I am a member of the developement circle where we develope our mediumistic skills and, also a probationary student of the Sussex Healers from where I will gain a certificate enabling me to practice healing alongside my other therapies/skills.
Apart from the continuous learning at the church, there is often much laughter and upliftment. Although we all respect the place we are in fun is still allowed!
Colin and Cindy are the wonderful couple who run the church and are the most lovely people you could meet. A warm welcome and a hug are always on hand to regulars and newcomers.
Our Friday evening services are a true revelation! I was pleasantly surprised. None of this straining to sing an old Hymm nobody knows, Oh no! We sing with gusto to such songs as 'Angels' by Robbie and other well known modern songs. There are a few inspirational readings which often leave us laughing and an hour or so of Clarvoyance from a visiting medium.( Every now and then Colin and his students from circle have their own evening when us students get up and 'have a go'.)
